walterpeaktours.com is run by Patrick Kühne, an independent travel publisher based in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, Germany. He builds and maintains a small portfolio of guides to attraction tickets and day tours. There is no agency and no rotating editorial team behind this site: the pages are researched, written and kept up to date by one person — the same one who answers the e-mails.
What this site does
Every visit to Walter Peak starts with the same boat from Queenstown, and every experience there is run by the same operator. What differs is the variant: a cruise on its own, the farm tour, the gourmet BBQ, the horse trek or the small garden experience — and the names on booking platforms rarely make those differences obvious. We describe what actually separates them — how long you are ashore, what you eat, how much of the visit is animals — and show live prices so the choice can be made in one place. We are not a booking agent: every reservation happens on GetYourGuide.
How we earn money
