No. The farm sits across Lake Whakatipu with no public road access — the boat from the RealNZ Visitor Centre at 88 Beach Street in Queenstown is the only way in, and the experience you book determines what happens ashore. There is no walk-up ferry-only shuttle sold separately from the experiences.

All include the same return crossing. The cruise-only ticket does not go ashore; the farm tour adds the animal programme and afternoon tea; the gourmet BBQ adds a proper meal at the Colonel's Homestead as lunch or dinner; the horse trek adds a 40–45-minute guided ride; and Garden to Table adds tree planting and a garden lunch. Only if you book a TSS Earnslaw departure — crossings also run on the catamaran Spirit of Queenstown. From 18 May to 27 June 2026 the steamship is in its annual survey and every crossing runs on the catamaran, while the farm-side experiences continue as normal.

The schedule shifts by season, and we do not publish a grid we cannot verify ahead of time. The booking calendar for your date shows the actual sailings and which vessel runs each one. The cruise-only trip is about 1.5 hours; the shore experiences run about 3.5 hours in total.
